While setting up devices with ArborXR you may get the error, Another device owner application is installed. This means that the device has another application installed on the device that is acting as the device owner, thereby preventing ArborXR from being set as the device owner.

πŸ’‘A device owner is an application that runs as a device administrator on your device. The device owner app can take control of the configuration, security and other applications on the device. Note that a device can only have one device owner.

It's expected to receive this error on devices enrolled into Quest for Business, as Quest for Business' client app will have been set as the device owner.

πŸ’‘SOLUTION: Factory reset the device to uninstall the device owner application. Once the factory reset is completed, proceed with setting up your device with ArborXR. If using Meta Quest, after the factory reset do not enroll the devices into Quest for Business.
