The OS is the operating system of the device.
The Client app is ArborXR's background app that enables remote management functionality on the device.
The Home app is ArborXR's launcher that locks down the device and enables admins to configure which apps & settings are available to users.
While the OS and ArborXR's client & home apps automatically update over-the-air (OTA), it can be a challenge to track which versions are installed on which devices given:
Device fleets can grow to the hundreds if not thousands.
Not all devices in the fleet may come online at the same time.
Some devices may not connect to WiFi for long periods of time.
It is important to track these versions as they can determine the functionality offered on devices. For example, remotely launching apps across devices is only supported on devices running version 2022.28.0 or higher of the client app. Likewise, WiFi settings integrated within ArborXR's home app is only supported on devices running version 2022.27.0 or higher of the home app.
