💡Temporarily exiting ArborXR Home to access the device's native home environment is a useful feature as this enables the management of device settings that cannot be managed directly within ArborXR Home.
On Horizon managed services devices, it is not possible to access the native home environment when devices are configured to ArborXR Home (i.e. shared mode).
Non-Meta Horizon Managed Services Devices
Exit ArborXR Home
Select Advanced Settings (cog icon) in the bottom left corner of ArborXR Home.
Select View Advanced Settings:
If an admin PIN is not enforced: select View Advanced Settings.
If an admin PIN is enforced: select Unlock Advanced Settings then enter the admin PIN and click Unlock Settings.
Select Exit ArborXR Home.
Select Continue.
💡 On PICO devices running PUI 5 or higher, the device will restart. Upon restart, the user will be booted into the PICO Home Environment.
💡Upon exiting, ArborXR Home's enforcement will be deactivated, including overriding the home button, until the ArborXR Home app is manually re-launched via the device's native app menu.
Return to ArborXR Home
ArborXR's ArborXR Home app should be available from the device's respective 'app library'. If you cannot locate your device's respective app library, refer to the device manufacturer's website for further assistance locating the device's app library.
Meta Horizon Managed Services Devices
On Horizon managed services devices, it is not possible to access the native home environment when devices are configured to ArborXR Home (i.e. shared mode). Instead, exiting ArborXR Home gives access to additional system settings.
