⚠️ As of February 26, 2025, Meta has changed how Quest devices are first enrolled in ArborXR. To enroll, you’ll need to use ArborXR’s integration with Horizon managed services.
Meta Quest devices do not support initial, out-of-the-box enrollment via the ArborXR Device Setup App. If the device is currently enrolled in ArborXR, re-enrollment is supported.

Download and Install the Device Setup App
💡 The ArborXR Device Setup App is supported on the following OS:
Windows 10 version 1607 or later
macOS version 10.14 or later
Download the Device Setup App:
Install the Device Setup App.
For Windows users, the Device Setup App will download as a setup executable. Launch this .exe and run through the installation flow. IT admins can use run setup with arguments to automate deployments and even install the app machine-wide.
For macOS users, the Device Setup App will download as a disk image. Open it to mount it, then drag and drop the app in the opened window into the Applications folder.
Once the Device Setup App is installed, launch it and login with your ArborXR credentials.
⚠️ If you're provisioning via Configuration Package, you will not need to log into the Device Setup App. For more information, visit our guide on Configuration Packages.
