ArborXR Home includes an Advanced Settings menu which includes information about the device, brightness, volume, movement tracking (Pico only), interaction method, and an option to exit ArborXR Home temporarily to access the device's native home environment.

πŸ’‘ NOTE: Temporarily exiting ArborXR Home to access the device's native home environment is a useful feature as this enables the management of device settings that cannot be managed directly within ArborXR Home. For example, enabling or disabling Meta Quest's hand tracking functionality.

Advanced Settings can be accessed in two places:

  1. Via the main app menu by selecting the cog icon below the app menu UI.

  2. Via the quick access menu by selecting the cog icon in the top right hand corner. The quick access menu opens on pressing the home button (a) on the right hand controller or (b) on the headset.

πŸ’‘ NOTE: Advanced Settings can optionally be locked with a 4 to 10 digit numeric PIN. Given there is the option to exit ArborXR Home and access the device's native home environment, it is recommended to lock Advanced Settings with an Admin PIN. For steps to enforce an Admin PIN, see step 5 from this article.
