💡 The steps for creating a configuration group vary depending on plan.
Free & Starter Plans
Customers on the Free (legacy) & Starter plans do not have access to the Nested Groups feature.
Click Devices & Groups in the navigation sidebar.
Click on the + icon in the secondary navigation menu next to Groups.
Enter a title for the Group.
Click Create Group.
Essential & Enterprise Plans
Customers on the Essential & Enterprise plans have access to the Nested Groups feature. For more information about nested groups, see this article.
Click Devices & Groups in the navigation sidebar.
Click on the + icon in the secondary navigation menu next to Groups.
In the Group Name input enter a title.
In the Parent Group (Optional) input optionally assign the group to a parent group, to nest it beneath the parent group.
Click Add Group.
Create additional parent and sub-groups as needed. Once you have created parent groups and sub-groups that model your real-world company structure, you are now ready to add devices and configure them.
Navigate to the sub group to which you would like to add devices.
Click Configure Group.
