Viewing Your Insights Data

When you use an application that has Insights integrated, you'll be able to view your data. While the best customer experience is to view your data within our Analytics tab, you may want to go deeper than what we show in our visualizations.

Insights makes all of your data accessible. To view it, first navigate to the application the developer has shared with you, or that you uploaded, within your Content Library.

Once there, navigate to the Insights Hub tab.

Here, you'll see all of the data we collect, segmented into four different types:

Sessions

Session Data shows you on a per-user basis (if you're using an authentication method) per-session data. You can see all of the objectives, events, and logs tied to a particular session.

Basic

Basic allows content developers to record logs primarily for help in debugging, or as a catch all for different things they might think is helpful to track for you.

Telemetry

Telemetry is automatically captured by Insights and records how an application affects memory and battery on the headset, as well as the headset and controllers position.

Events

Events are defined by the developer, and can range from the experience starting and completing (what we call an Assessment or Experience), all the way to specific Objectives being captured within the experience, like what actions your learners are performing.

Exporting Your Data

Right now, Insights supports exporting your data in a JSON format. To do this, simply select the tab you want to export, and then click the download button:
