Set a Custom Wallpaper and Disable Lock Screen on Android Phones & Tablets

Who can use this feature?

πŸ‘€ Organizations Owners, Admins, Group Admins, and custom roles with the "Configure System Settings" permission.
🚩 Available on the Essential, Classroom Pro, and Enterprise Plans.

  1. Navigate to the individual ungrouped device or device group in question.

  2. Select the Settings tab.

  3. Select System from the sub navigation menu.

  4. Scroll down to the Phones & Tablets section.

  5. Configure the following settings as desired. By default, these settings are configured to Not Managed by ArborXR.

    • Lock Screen. Disable the lock screen to allow immediately using the device after turning on its screen (e.g. press the power button). No PIN, password, pattern or biometric authentication will be required to use the device. When enabled, the lock screen type can be configured by the device user.

    • Upload a Custom Wallpaper. The most common wallpaper size for Android phones is 1080 x 1920 pixels. For tablets, the most common resolution is typically 2160 x 1920 pixels, though this can vary depending on the specific tablet model.

  6. Click Save.
