Overview

Google Play Protect is a security feature for Google Mobile Services certified Android devices that helps protect your device and data by checking for harmful apps and behaviors.

Google Play Protect is stringent with apps not sourced from the Play Store. If Google Play Protect is enabled, this warning message will block the automatic installation of apps installed from a source outside the Google Play Store, including ArborXR. To proceed with the installation, you need to select More Details > Install Anyway.

โš ๏ธ If you select Got it instead of More Details > Install Anyway, the app in question will not be installed.

Disable Google Play Protect

In order to automatically install applications via ArborXR without getting this warning message, Google Play Protect must be disabled. To disable Google Play Protect, follow the steps detailed in the "How to turn Google Play Protect on or off" section of this Google support article.
