Steps to migrate enrolled devices between your organizations.

Who can use this feature?

πŸ‘€ Organizations Owners, Admins, and custom roles with the "Migrate Devices" permission in the source organization and the "Enroll Devices" permission in the target organization.

Overview

This feature allows you to move devices between the organizations that you have access to. During migration, you can optionally select a group in the target organization to directly add devices to.

⚠️ To prevent app reinstallation and preserve settings like Wi-Fi, choose a device group in the new organization that perfectly matches the source group's configuration (apps, Wi-Fi, kiosk experience, etc.).

If you don't select a group:

  • The device will be ungrouped.

  • Apps installed by [Current Org Name] will be uninstalled.

  • All previously configured settings (e.g., ArborXR Home) will revert to default.


Steps to Migrate Devices

  1. Click Devices.

  2. Click the checkbox to the left of each device you wish to move.

  3. Click Edit.

  4. From the dropdown menu, select Migrate Device(s).

  5. Click on the Organizations input.
    ​

  6. Select the desired target organization.
    ​

  7. Click Device Group to open a dropdown menu. Here, you can select a group in the target organization to automatically add devices to. While this step is optional, we recommend it.
    ​

  8. Click Migrate.
