Overview
When configuring ArborXR Kiosk Mode via the web portal, admins can allow or restrict access to settings. Settings include:
Boundary setup
WiFi
Casting
Bluetooth
Tobii Eye calibration (PICO Neo 3 Pro Eye only)
Controller settings (PICO only)
IPD Adjustment (PICO only)
Screen recording
If an Admin PIN is configured, users or admins can access any restricted settings within ArborXR Kiosk Mode by entering the PIN.
Enter Admin Mode
💡 On Meta Quest devices, the ArborXR Quick Access Menu is not available to devices configured to ArborXR Kiosk Mode, as Meta's Quick Settings menu replaces our Quick Access menu.
To access restricted settings within ArborXR Kiosk Mode:
Press the home button to open ArborXR's Quick Access menu.
Select Settings, represented by the cog icon.
Select Unlock Advanced Settings.
Enter the PIN.
💡 Upon entering the correct PIN, users will be in Admin Mode and will be able to access all restricted settings, including the option to exit ArborXR Kiosk Mode and access the device's native home environment.
Exit Admin Mode
Users can exit Admin Mode by either clicking on the red lock icon towards the bottom right-hand corner of the UI or by rebooting the device
