💡Temporarily exiting Kiosk Mode to access the device's stock settings is a useful feature as this enables the management of device settings that cannot be managed directly within ArborXR Home. For example, enabling or disabling Meta Quest's hand tracking functionality.

Exit Kiosk Mode:

  1. Press on the home button on the controller to open ArborXR's quick access menu.

  2. Select Advanced Settings (cog icon) in the top left corner.

  3. Select View Advanced Settings if an admin PIN is not being enforced, or Unlock Advanced Settings if an admin PIN is being enforced.

    • If an admin PIN is being enforced, enter the admin PIN then click Unlock Settings.

  4. Select Exit ArborXR Home.

  5. Select Continue.

    • On Pico Neo 3, Pico's system quick access menu will appear with the option to Exit or Continue. Select Exit to exit to Pico's home environment.

💡 NOTE: Upon clicking Continue, ArborXR's Kiosk Mode enforcement will be deactivated, including altering the home button behavior, until the ArborXR Home app, called ArborXR Home, is manually launched.

Return to Kiosk Mode:

  1. Navigate to the device's default app menu.

    • On Meta Quest, navigate to the Unknown Sources folder to find the ArborXR Home.

    • On Pico Neo 3, filter Pico's native apps menu by All or Entertainment to find the ArborXR Home app.

  2. Launch the ArborXR Home app.

💡 NOTE: Upon launch, ArborXR's Kiosk Mode will be re-enforced, including the altering of the home button behavior.
