Within the AndroidManifest.xml file developers can manage the packageName, versionCode and versionName for their app, all of which are crucial fields for proper version control. For Unity developers, the build tools use the package name as the package attribute value and add it in the AndroidManifest.xml file. Therefore, there’s no need to manually add the package attribute value in the manifest file.
From Unity's menu, go to Edit > Project Settings > Player, and select the Android tab.
Under Identification, you can manage:
Package Name, which corresponds to
packageNamefrom theAndroidManifest.xmlfile.Version Code, which corresponds to
versionCodefrom theAndroidManifest.xmlfile.Version, which corresponds to
versionNamefrom theAndroidManifest.xmlfile.Version, not Version Code, is what is displayed in the Version column in ArborXR.
